Digital Products

BITBRUK products are digital software distributed via the Chrome Web Store.

Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund of every payment taken for it. This follows EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen). Send the request to the address under Refund Request below.

Defective Products

If a product is defective or does not function as described, you are entitled to a remedy under EU consumer protection law regardless of this policy.

Subscriptions and Free Trials

Smart Bookmarks AI is offered with a 14-day free trial. Starting the trial does not charge you and does not create a paid contract. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, no payment is taken.

If you subscribe and later cancel, access continues through the end of the current billing period. Cancellations do not automatically refund unused time unless required by law. You can cancel at any time from the Stripe customer portal inside the extension, or by email to the address below if the extension is no longer installed.

Refund Request

Email [email protected] with your purchase details. We will process your refund within 14 business days. Your mandatory statutory consumer rights for defective or non-conforming digital content are preserved regardless of this policy, and so is the 14-day right of withdrawal above.

Chrome Web Store

The extension is installed free via the Chrome Web Store. Paid subscriptions are billed by Stripe -- refunds are handled through the Refund Request above, not the Chrome Web Store.

Free Products

Free products and free tiers do not require refund processing.
